This t-shirt is manufactured by smart fibrics and it contains minute sensors that can measure wearer's Heart Beat, Pulse Rate, Blood Pressure, Body Temperature and Location.It features electrodes that identify bioelectric power like the one produced by the heart beating. With the help of these electrodes it is possible to get an electrocardiogram.
It contains thermometers and accelerometers to determine the wearer's body temperature and location and can determine the physical activity.The team plans to equip the T-short with another gadget that would receive signals from a network of transmitters mounted throughout the hospital. After collecting these signals the device would wirelessly transmit data about them to the main data management system.
Moreover this device can be used outside the hospitals , so that it would be quite easy for the doctors to examine the condition of the patients while staying at their homes , It also contains specific alarms that are enabledwhen the wearer's pulse rate and blodd pressure exceeds the normal reading.
