Upcoming HTC 7 Pro Sprint Windows Mobile

HTC 7 Pro Sprint
Windows Phone 7 will debut on Sprint very, very soon with this big, sliding-QWERTY-keyboard model. The form factor is the selling point here, with a tilting screen that makes it look like a little laptop.

It is going to have a 3.6-inch, WVGA touchscreen that can slide aside (and tilt up) to reveal a landscape-oriented keyboard.
The HTC 7 Pro is going to run Windows Phone 7 on a 1 GHz processor and have 576 MB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
It will have 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, and a GPS receiver.
Other features are going to include a 5 megapixel camera with LCD flash and a 1500 mAh battery.

For those of you who know that the current WP7 build doesn't have support for CDMA handsets, this may sound weird. But we'd like to remind you that an important Windows Phone 7 update is due sometime this summer, and one of the new features will be that it brings support for CDMA networks.

This gives a promising outlook that we may finally get to see an official Sprint announcement for the HTC 7 Pro sometime this week, so you'd better have your alerts set on the carrier's Twitter account if you'd like to find out ahead of the crowds.

Meanwhile they're only teasing us saying that a new handset is to be revealed this Thursday - Feb 24th. Definitely a good hint that something is cooking.
