Firefox OS

There are many big manufacturers who are supporting Firefox and they will be bringing Firefox OS phones in the months and years ahead. It’s quite surprising that Geeksphone has beaten all major manufacturers by putting its Keon and Peak Firefox OS phones, up for sale. The startup lists these first Firefox OS phones as “developer previews,” so they won’t be brought to you by many networks. Still, the aforementioned smartphones are good for those who are desperate to try out the Firefox OS.

Keon Firefox OS Smartphone

The Keon  is basic 3.5-inch touchscreen model. It is powered by 1GHz processor and features 3-megapixel camera, 4GB of internal storage memory. The smartphone is priced at 100 euros plus sales tax.

Peak Firefox OS Smartphone

The Peak smartphone is slightly better than the Keon. It has 4.3-inch touchscreen and is powered by 1.2GHz processor. It is a dual-camera smartphone with one camera being of 8-megapixel and other being a video call camera. 150 euros plus the sales tax is what the smartphone is priced at. The price tags in dollars, as listed by Geeksphone, are $143 and $235 for the Keon and the Peak respectively.
